Maison Rouge NYC occupies a historically significant Midtown Manhattan structure originally built in 1871 as the John Allen Stable. Following a full architectural redesign, the building has been repurposed into a multi-level private residence, supporting overnight stays and privately hosted events.

OUR HOUSEHOLD

Maison Rouge NYC is a hosted private residence with an on-site household.

Director of Communications and Operations

Sara Stein

Sara's role includes guest coordination, house standards, vendor oversight, and day-of operational management.

Having a consistent on-site presence allows for continuity, clear communication, and a high level of care across both stays and events.

She resides on-site with Juliette in a private off-suite adjacent to the main-floor kitchen. This space is separate from the guest residence.

Resident Service Dog

Juliette

Our in-house service dog, a blue-eyed Cocker Spaniel, is professionally trained, well accustomed to a hosting environment, and maintained to established cleanliness and behavior standards. Her presence reflects the residential nature of the home.

For guests who prefer a dog-free environment, Juliette can be off-site by request.
